Office & HR Manager
I’m Saimah Iram, Office & HR Manager. I am predominately based at the central office and am usually the first person you would speak to when you contact the office. You may also see me from time to time at the Settings as I am required to complete a lot of minute taking.
I joined CBCS in June 2019. I manage and run all operations of the central office and the administration of CBCS as well as all aspects of the recruitment, HR matters & training. My role entails working closely with the Childcare Services Manager as well as the Childcare Education Advisors.
Prior to this I worked in the private adult healthcare sector for over 10 years in various capacities and enjoy the aspect of helping individuals to meet their individuals needs, so the transition from adult care to childcare in an educational setting felt very alike.
I have a degree in Social Sciences from The University of Manchester and completed my dissertation on youth crime. This broadened my understanding on current social issues and encouraged me to work in an environment to support others.
Out of work I enjoy cycling (on a sunny day) and love baking.
